On Saturday May 9, 2015, our office is hosting the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Garage/Bake Sale and Barbeque with all proceeds supporting our local women’s shelter, Halton Womens Place. At our first annual event, we aim to raise as much as possible to break the cycle of domestic violence.

Our event is taking place Saturday May 9, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Royal LePage Realty Plus Oakville located at 2347 Lakeshore Rd. W (at Nelson).

Our Fellow Realtors, Friends and Community are welcome to take part and spring clean for a cause. Donations would be appreciated. Our office will be accepting gently used items for the Shelter foundation garage sale starting Monday May 4, 2015 at our Bronte location, 2347 Lakeshore Rd. W., between the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

We are also looking for individuals to donate their time. Please contact one of the ladies at the front desks if you would be able to commit a block of your time that day; or please feel free to drop in throughout the day whenever you are able.

The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation has raised more than $18 million to support abused women and their children living in shelters across Canada. Through agent commission donations and the fundraising activities of the Royal LePage network, we are helping to provide a safe haven and new beginnings to more than 30,000 women and children each year. All funds raised by Royal LePage offices remain in their local community and because Royal LePage Canada pays all administrative costs, 100 percent of all money raised goes toward this important cause.
